The BIO 2019 International Convention in Philadelphia, PA, USA, took place from the 3rd until the 6th of June 2019 as it continues to be the largest biotechnology conference in the world, and this year’s event had a significant international presence. BIO provides an environment where innovative thrives. Once we arrived in Philadelphia, we joined 17,000+ biotech colleagues from 70+ countries for a busy, productive week of events, education sessions, innovative exhibitors and a record-breaking number of BIO One-on-One Partnering™ meetings.

Our in-booth events and meetings about iVis International collaborations and Global Business Development in Refractive Ophthalmic arena were well attended and we noticed a strong interest in collaborating with US-based and International companies. Our breakthrough technology, The iVis Suite™, is the only platform in the ophthalmic market which is conceived to perform customized corneal surgeries according to the patient’s real needs in terms of vision quality and minimization of the surgical invasiveness and to allow, through its own proprietary one-step no-touch surgery, remote controlled, high level performance even in geographic areas where the presence of a skilled surgeon may not be granted.

During the Innovative companies’ presentation forum, Giuseppe D’Ippolito (CEO of iVis Technologies) took the opportunity and he presented the iVis Technologies mission, and our 4D Suite Corneal Refractive Surgery breakthrough technology and which once again attracted a lot of attention at the BIO Innovators Pavilion.
