International breakthrough: Professor Giovanni Alessio, during the National AICCER Congress, performed a remotely controlled refractive surgery from the "La Nuvola" Congress Center on a patient at San Carlo Hospital in Nancy, Rome, assisted in the operating room by Dr. Scipione Rossi.
